i see the resemblance...

... between her story and mine, moving around a bit and only realizing how absurdly undemocratic DC's lack of voting rights is once you've moved here.  It's moving to hear people young and old, from all different backgrounds--including veterans like Mrs. Davis--demanding something as simple as the right to be represented in our own government.

And I gotta say, Ed, she definitely looks like you! (Or you look like her, I suppose.)  Only she's got more hair, thank goodness.
